Week 9 Weigh In

Today we did a workout calls 5×5. That means we are doing 5 reps of heavy weights and doing that for 5 sets. It was all leg focused so we did things like squats, lunges, dead lifts and of course there was the¬†obligatory core work!

Weighed in today and I lost 3 more pounds! That is 32 pounds overall and 25 for the challenge!! None of my clothes really fit anymore and people are really starting to notice! So I am now at 231 pounds! I am SO close to the 220’s and then headed towards Onderland!!!

    Haven’t checked in in a while-great progress, and best wishes for a fun 5K with all the folks out there being healthy! Are you running with a friend? If not, MAKE ONE within the first mile with someone running your pace. I did during the 10K at the end of a tri and we still stay in touch, besides getting each other through some low points.

    And I LOVE 5×5 lifting programs-quick and efficient if you use the big lifts.
